How To Apply Calf & Arch Pre-Cut Tape
Extreme stretching or overuse of the calves can lead to muscle tearing or cramping. Most calf injuries are acute, and individuals often report radiating pain and tightness along the entirety of the muscle. Our calf & arch pre-cut kinesiology tape is designed to relieve pain and swelling from an acute injury and prevent re-injury.
Plantar fasciitis occurs when there is excessive pressure on the ligament on the sole. Some common causes include increasing your running mileage too quickly or wearing inappropriate footwear. Our calf & arch pre-cut spiders provide support and pain relief to the heel and arch of the foot, so you can keep doing what you love.
PThe Calf and Arch Pre-Cut Spider extends from the bottom of the foot to cover the entire calf.
Section two projections come through between the first and second toes and the third and fourth toes. Pull section two projections through the toes, then take off the backing of section one. Lay it on the skin smoothly and rub to activate the glue.
Peel the backing of section two off and lay them on top of the foot, making sure they don’t overlap each other.
Take section three's backing off completely and lay it on the bottom of the foot without any stretch. Smooth out the tape and rub it back and forth a few times to activate the glue.
Peel off the backing of section four slowly, keeping your hand over the tape as you move up along the calf. Once the tape is on the skin, rub over the centre of the calf and the edges of the tape.
Pull the rightmost section five strip slightly while holding the base of the strip against the skin to keep it upright and out of the way.
Peel the backing off of the middle section five strips slowly. Use a finger to smooth the tape along the calf as you remove the backing. When you do these sections, you want to make sure you don’t stretch the tape. Take all the tension out on the tape as you lay it on the skin.
Repeat step 6 for all remaining section five strips. Make sure there’s a little bit of space between each of the projections.
Once the tape is on the skin, rub it over to warm it up and activate the glue.
