Elbow pain and pain in the forearm are extremely common among adults. Elbow pain is frequently caused by overuse, as many hobbies and jobs require repetitive arm movements. Often described as a ‘constant, annoying pain’ or ‘dull chronic ache,’ forearm pain especially impacts those who spend long hours working at their computers and those who spend all day working with their hands. The SpiderTech Kinesiology Tape Elbow and forearm provides drug free pain relief of forearm and elbow pain. Wearable for five days, the SpiderTech Elbow and Forearm Spider provides lasting relief for people who wish to get back to what they need to do.
A professionally engineered, dynamic therapeutic support for the muscles supporting the elbow and forearm.
The most common elbow injury is known as tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis. It is a chronic, overuse repetitive strain injury of the tendon on the outside of the elbow. This injury is characterized by pain and tenderness of the tendon, pain and difficulty using the hand to grip or make a fist and localized swelling on the outside of the elbow and forearm. The second most common repetitive stress injury is known as golfer’s elbow, or medial epicondylitis. It is another repetitive strain injury that is characterized by pain with flexing the fingers and wrist. Other elbow injuries can include elbow bursitis. In the case of bursitis, the fluid-filled sac on the back of the elbow bone can get irritated if the elbow is hit hard enough. In this case, there will be localized swelling that can look like a golf ball on the back of the elbow. There will also be pain from the significant swelling as well as difficulty bending the elbow
